Meeting Minutes

1.   Al Quie will be in the area in March.   If he agrees to speak, we will need help getting things organized.   Chuck Wendt will notify area saddle clubs.   Nola moved to put an announcement in the Stewartville paper with a limit of $25.00 for the ad.  Coleman seconded the motion.   The motion passed.   It may also be put in the Bluff  Country Reader.   Audrey moved to charge $5.00 per person or $10.00 per family with children accompanied by a parent getting in free.   Ann seconded the motion. The motion passed.   Also, Deb Norland will be asked to sing prior to Al speaking.   Our expenses will be rent of room at Ironwood Springs ($200.00), Al Qui ($100.00), and our newspaper ads ($25.00).   A meeting will be called as soon as we have any details.

2.   Ron Carter said he would take care of the web page with the only charge being the $9.99 domain name fee.   Terry moved to accept Ron's offer.   Jerry seconded the motion.   The motion passed.

Dates were set for up coming events:

• April 19th: Trail cleaning will be starting at the campsite (1:00 p.m.)

• May 3rd:   Bluebell ride with potluck at 1:00 p.m. and ride   at 2:00 p.m.

• May 16th: Trail cleaning at 4:00 p.m. with bonfire and meeting afterward

• May 23rd-25th:   Camping and riding for Memorial weekend

• June ?:   Old Settlers Day was tabled until next meeting

• July 4th:   Ride in the parade at Stewartville. Moonlight rides will go on thought the summer
